Functional Area
Compensation and benefits is a sensitive area, not only for the organizations but also for the employees. Developing and managing a reward structure is one of the critical cornerstones of the human resource department. It is extremely important to design the right reward package that supports the business goals.
Today Human Capital is considered to be an integral part of the organization's assets and they need to be effectively managed. One of the tools to retain and motivate people is through a good Compensation and Benefits program. Compensation is the monetary value given by the employer to the employee in exchange of the work done and Benefits are the fringe benefits and non-financial benefits provided by the employer in addition to cash salary given by the employer to keep the employees motivated.
